ABOUT ABOUT

Late spring in 1932. Apalachicola, like the rest of the country, is in the throes of the Great Depression. Matriarch Cleopatra Singleton is happy that her family’s fortune has weathered the storm and they are still the wealthiest family in town. Or are they? In reality the fortune is lost and they may lose whatever little remains unless something drastic is done. Grandson Beau Singleton with help from his Great Uncle Bertie and best friend Dothan Alabama finds a way to rebuild the fortune with help from the “girls”, Trixie, Mona and Velvet. Of course Cleopatra can’t find out what they are doing because most of it is against the law. You can only pay the sheriff so much to keep a lid on things and when a Federal Officer shows up to investigate – murder may be the only way out. A comedy for adult audiences.
